Payment Options
Financial Counselors are
available to assist families who are uninsured, underinsured or
may need financial assistance or to set up payment arrangements.
They may assist you with applying for different Government
programs or give you advice on how to proceed. If you do not
qualify for any type of Government programs, we can review your
financial status to see if you meet guidelines for special
programs, Patient Financial Assistance, or hospital Free Bed
Funds. A pre-screening form (10k pdf) is available. Fax the form to 860.545.8006. A Financial
Counselor will contact you within two business days.
When to contact the Financial Counselors
If your child:
- Is scheduled to come in for an Admission
- Is scheduled for a procedure or surgery
- Has recently been seen in our Emergency Department
- Is currently hospitalized
- Has recently been discharged
