Child and Family Support Services is a multidisciplinary
department (including: Child Life,
Social Work,
Translation
Services, Pastoral Care and
the ArtReach Program). Our mission
is to foster and promote the psychosocial health and
well-being of children and families in the health care
setting. We assess the psychosocial needs of children and
families and provide support toward coping with the
challenges associated with hospitalization and chronic
illness, injury or disability.Other services: Child Protection Team,
Support Groups, Information for the
Deaf and Hard of Hearing
& Bereavement Support Program
Los Servicios de Apoyo de Niños y Familias es un
departamento multidisciplinario el cual incluye:
Especialistas del Desarrollo de Niños, Trabajo Social,
Servicios de Traducciòn, Cuidado Pastoral y Servicios
Voluntarios. Nuestra misiòn es apoyar y evaluar las
necesidades psicològicas de los niños y de sus familias.
Proveemos apoyo y les ayudamos a enfrentar los cambios
asociados con la visita mèdica, hospitalizaciòn y
enfermedades crònicas.
