Statistical Analysis and Epidemiology Let us interpret your large and complicated sets of data on health and other biological issues. We can also create a model to help you predict what might happen in similar situations in future. In addition, we can design research to statistically analyze patterns of illness or health problems in your target population. When appropriate, the final report will also explain any factors that may be affecting these patterns. GIS (Geographic Information Systems) When you need to display geographically relevant information, we can map it for you. Our GIS maps will help you understand the location and distribution of whatever issue you’re analyzing. We can also plot two or more sets of information when you need to compare several issues at one time. Ethnographic Research Do you need an in-depth description of a population or issue within a specific cultural setting? We do qualitative research that may include focus groups, individual interviews and observations. A proper mix of these and other research methods often paints a more detailed picture than statistics alone can provide. Relational Databases We can assess your needs for data collection, storage and analysis so you can work with different kinds of data from multiple sources at one time. We are proficient with Microsoft Access and other technical software that store and retrieve relational information. Plain Language Explanations For clients without a scientific background, we talk in clear, everyday language. We want you to understand any complicated concepts that are important to your program or project. Our goal is to inform you, not overwhelm you. Multi-Cultural Competence Our staff has a wide range of experiences working among ethnically diverse populations. We are familiar with the needs of your Spanish-speaking clients, and all of our services, including focus groups, surveys, questionnaires and reports, are available in Spanish. |
