The Occupational and Physical Therapy Department offers a broad range of services to both inpatients and outpatients. Services include evaluation, consultation and intervention for children in the neonatal period through eighteen years of age with acute and chronic conditions. The staff is comprised of licensed pediatric occupational therapists, physical therapists and clinical specialists with advanced training in neurological, musculoskeletal, sensory processing/integrative, oral motor/feeding, sports injury and adaptive equipment/assistive technology assessments and interventions. Aquatic therapy treatment services are also available.

The mission of the Therapies Department is to provide family-centered services in collaboration with interdisciplinary health care teams and community resources to promote health and recovery and to maximize the potential and functional independence of children of all ages and abilities.
