Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Auxiliary’s

Storybook Gala

with special guest

Ben Vereen

November 1, 2008

Hartford Marriott Downtown
200 Columbus Boulevard, Hartford, Connecticut 06103

The Storybook Gala celebrates the lives of the 150,000 children who benefit from Connecticut Children’s Medical Center each year. Produced by the Auxiliary, this signature formal benefit has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for programs, services & specialized staffing that makes Connecticut Children’s unique.

Our Gala will feature a cocktail reception and dinner, dancing to the sounds of The Little Big Band, a live and silent auction sure to delight attendees and children’s author Suzy Kline. Our special guest will be award winning Broadway, film and television star, Ben Vereen.

Gifts to the event's spotlight program, through Bid 4 Kidz, will support the construction of a new $5 million clinical care center at Connecticut Children’s for children with cancer and blood diseases. This facility will unite and expand clinical care services, research initiatives and family support programs in one new state-of-the-art setting.

We invite you to join the Auxiliary in making an important difference in the lives of children from across Connecticut as a Storybook Gala sponsor.

We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities from which to choose. Whether you represent a large corporation or are a small business owner, we have strived to create a level of participation to meet your needs.
